Today

Dear Lucy,

Today you said "I love you" for the very first time to me.

Today you pretended to change your own diaper. You walked over to the cabinet where your diaper supplies are located, grabbed a diaper, changing pad, and a little towel. You laid the changing pad out on the ottoman, laid on top of it and pretended to change your own diaper.

Today you tried to put your baby doll in your high chair. You were blabbing on and on about lunch and avacados.

Today you were playing in the living room while I was in the kitchen. I heard you say "uh oh, oh no" and you came to get me. You grabbed my finger and brought me to where you had accidently knocked a framed picture off of the shelf.

Today you let me give you extra cuddles.

Today you gave me lots of kisses.
